The sentence(s) which we get (mostly) from the people who love us, our friends and family members, usually with good intentions. The sentence(s) which we usually get for our new idea which we have just presented to them. Those people usually have something else pictured in their minds for us and our lives, not even to mention our business (or a job change). In those situations we have two options. First one, is to smile politely at them, thank them on their “advice” and just ignore what they have said to us. Second option is to believe them and their “advice”.
In the first situation we trust and believe in ourselves and our ideas (especially if she comes from our WHY). Of course, it takes a lot of hard work, testing, conversations to see if our idea can become a reality, but this is the first step we need to take in that direction.
In the second situation, we are lacking self consciousness and the will to say “no” to those people, and not to our idea. That is a secure way of letting many ideas die without any chance of success, and who knows, they might have changed the world for the better.
Give your idea a chance. Give yourself a chance. Have faith in yourself. You can do it. We can do it. Be skilled.
